Massage Therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. Pain or stiffness can be the result of restrictions or injury to muscles and connective tissue. Massage can effectively restore normal tone to muscles, speed recovery and relieve pain. General relaxation massage is a valuable component of a wellness program, along with good nutrition, exercise and adequate rest.
In Ohio, Massage Therapists have at least 750 hours of training and are licensed by the Ohio State Medical board.
Michael developed, and has been teaching, the massage therapy program at Stark State College for over 15 years. Marcia has been teaching massage therapy at the National Institute of Massage Therapy and Stark State College for over 20 years.
