Many techniques of Acupuncture, like Auricular Therapy, do not require the use of needles. This puts the modality in the scope of practice of massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors and other health care providers.
Experience and research shows that auricular therapy without needles can be as effective as body acupuncture. It can relieve pain and tension more rapidly than conventional meridian treatment.
The ear is a microsystem of the whole body. Other microsystems are seen in foot or hand reflexology. Stimulating points on the ear can help alleviate a wide variety of conditions in any part of the body. Auricular Therapy is a unique and effective treatment option that can be easily incorporated into your practice.
This seminar will focus on the treatment of pain in any region, muscle or joint. The format balances interesting lecture with practical, hands-on training.
The instructor provides ongoing support to answer questions via phone or e-mail as you integrate this new modality into practice.
This seminar qualifies for 6 CEU’s for AMTA & ABMP. If you need CEU’s from another organization, contact the instructor.
